The location was very convenient to Prince of Wales Hospital, shops, eateries, and a cinema. Perfect for anyone visiting the hospital or exploring the area. the room was also quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay.
Felt cosy, nothing to complain about.

The room was small but comfortable. There wasn't much in the way of facilities, but there was a television and the room was air conditioned, and that's true all we needed.
There were only 3 parking spots in an alley behind the hotel. There was a back door for easy access, but getting one of the spots was almost impossible. The only other parking was on the street, but that was hard to come by too.

Comfortable, spacious room in excellent location.
Air Conditioner was ineffective and too noisy. Needs updating.

The location was mind-blowing, with easy access to hospital appointments and a short walk to shops and the beach. The room was super comfortable, nicely renovated, and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. The staff were jaw-droppingly friendly and the value for money was excellent.

It was clean and very quiet. It had a modern flat screen TV and good quality air con. I thought it was very good value.
Your site indicates: Free parking possible, no reservation needed. This set the expectation that we would be able to park at the hotel. In actual fact, the hotel only has three parking places (which were continually full) and parking in nearby streets is difficult as most require residential permits.

On the bus route, easy to get into downtown. The limited in-room bar/fridge was welcome and appreciated. Rooms (we had a twin room for two and a 2 double for 3) are very small, but that seems to be the norm at this price range. We stayed at the Marco Polo Inn later in our trip and found it far more economical, close to the train station, and nearly comperable in quality.
For the room, location and quality, their asking rates are high. If you can bargain down 30% it's not a bad place.

Great location, only a short walk to public transportation and essential amenities such as a 24-hour grocery store and banks. It was also visually appealing with nice amenities. the receptionist, an Asian lady, was friendly and accommodating.
The room was uncomfortable, and the sofa bed had a wooden base that was unacceptable. the staff's response to issues was unhelpful and nonchalant, such as when there was a huge flying cockroach in the room.

Cheap Airport bus (400) is just about on the doorstep.Coogie beach is 20 minutes walk down the hill. The City is so easy to access by public transport. Perfect for an affordable weekend in Sydney.

my recent stay at sydney lodges exceeded all expectations. having previously stayed in sydney, i was amazed by the incredible location and selection of restaurants and bars nearby. the staff were super friendly and even provided great recommendations. the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, which is always important to me.
Road noise was a bit disturbing at times.

There is no space in the room. I don't really know how are doubles, but the single room, you can open the closet because is touching with the bed, and the toilette is so small. The plastic door it was break i told them to fix and they didn't do it. The only positive thing is fifteen or twenty minutes to the beach. Thats all.

The location of Sydney Lodges was perfect for us, as it was close to the hospital where our nephew was staying. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep after long days at the hospital. The proximity to a nearby pub also meant we could enjoy great meals without having to travel far.

The hotel represented great value for money - very adequate accomodation and facilities set within a very handy location - very close proximity to transport, shopping areas, "The Spot" and to Coogee Beach.
Security could possibly be improved upon.
